I have always been a baker. My mum taught me to cook from a young age, which she said was extremely painful at times, as I guess it was always easier to do it herself. Less mess and all; you know what kids are like! But she persisted and I'm glad she did. We have never been one to buy birthday cakes. My mum made each of my mine and my sisters birthday cakes to date! She is an incredible cook and baker; so I'm grateful I get fed well and spoiled with tasty food and desserts such as her signature lemon meringue pie! I enjoy cooking, but my main interest is in baking. I love cooking cakes and desserts. I like experimenting with decoration and flavours.
